Thus, we understand exactly what our patient wants and we explain the procedure we will do to him/her in detail.

Long Distance Patients

For our long distance patients, International and National, there are a few steps which need to taken to ensure each patient is comfortable. There are 2 main steps - Long Distance Consultation and In-Person Consultation. These two steps are to ensure a high comfort level with Dr. Hakan Demir and the procedures you plan to have performed.

1. Long Distance Consultation

If possible, attach photographs, Dr. Demir can then advise you on the best cutting-edge techniques he would perform to achieve your desired results - safely.      • The entire trip planned (from your point of departure, your lodging accommodations, possible sight-seeing and travel back home)
     • Entire time in Turkey - Lodging accommodation and sight-seeing

     • Specify if there are any places you would like see in particular
   • Any special requirements you may have

   • Only upon Dr. Demir's request, send additional medical records. We will recommend the best way to send them to us depending upon where you reside.
   • If you and the doctor agree that the surgery will benefit you, you can begin to plan for the operation.
     • Let us know when you plan to come to Antalya for your procedures, so we can ensure that Dr. Demir is available on those dates.
     • Let us know the duration of your stay in the country and Antalya.
     • Surgeries are performed at least 24 hours after your arrival in Turkey. This gives you time for your in-person consultation and pre-operative tests (required for procedures performed under General Anesthesia or Twilight Anesthesia).

2. In Person Consultation
   
   When you meet with Board Certified Dr. Hakan Demir for the first time, he will carefully examine you and will go over all aspects of the surgery. He will ensure that all of your questions are answered and you are completely comfortable.
